Road to San Gennaro

Part 2 of 4. The drive down into Manhattan, the walk along Grand Street, and the link-up with the crew at the Feast of San Gennaro.

Night skyline out the car window, then boots on the ground in Chinatown with the Ferris wheel already in sight. Walking these streets brings back the bike-messenger days: fixie, Chrome bag, rain, snow and hundred-degree heat.

Then it's finding everybody in the crowd. Giving directions by Ferrara, Grand and Mulberry, the middle of the whole festival. CJ and Flipstar pull up, somebody declares Calvin Priice for president, and two years' worth of catching up happens in about five minutes.
